RomeLid is a physical clip that keeps a laptop lid slightly open so the lid sensor does not report "closed." It is an independent accessory — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. It does not modify your device's software or hardware.
Prices are shown in USD before tax and may vary between visitors as we test pricing; the price shown to you at checkout is the price you pay. Discount codes are applied at checkout and cannot be combined.
Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, decline, cancel, or refund any order at any time and for any reason — including suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, stock or fulfillment constraints, or shipping restrictions. If we cancel an order, our sole obligation is to refund the full amount you paid; we are not liable for any other loss arising from a cancellation, to the extent permitted by law.
Shipping is free. Delivery typically takes 7–14 business days and may occasionally take longer due to carrier, customs, or fulfillment delays. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed. International customers are responsible for any import duties and taxes.
All sales are final except as set out here or required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may return the product within 60 days of delivery: contact support@romelid.com for the return address, then ship the product back at your own cost and on your own schedule within that window. Your refund of the purchase price is issued once we receive the returned product. Refunds are not issued before the return arrives, except where required by law. EU/UK consumers additionally retain their statutory 14-day withdrawal right and legal conformity guarantees; nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights in your jurisdiction, and where local consumer law grants you broader refund rights, that law prevails.
Keep vents unobstructed during sustained compute. Do not run heavy workloads inside sealed, unventilated compartments. You are responsible for monitoring your device's temperature and battery, as with any sustained workload. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; our total liability is limited to the purchase price. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so they may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's place of business, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. EU consumers may use the ODR platform or their local consumer bodies.
